The comic starts a little while after. Tristan probably did his best to comfort her, and is now trying to keep her comforted.

But while a lot of other campers try to keep up moral and take their minds off things, he's brooding up a storm. With some help from Gen he's starting battle plans. He thinks they're something coming, and even if not it's good to be prepared.
